Fay Cafe in Sedona offers more than just your average coffee stop—it’s a spot where the craft of coffee and a thoughtfully curated atmosphere come together in a quiet stretch of W State Route 89A. This cafe specializes in pour-over coffee using local Sedona-roasted FreeForm blends, a feature that draws those who appreciate watching the meticulous brewing process as much as savoring the final cup. The option to choose between two blends and sizes adds a personal touch that coffee enthusiasts tend to appreciate.

The vibe at Fay Cafe leans toward relaxed and cozy, with a stylish interior tastefully accented by local art and ceramics, which customers often browse while settling in. It’s the kind of place where you could easily spend an afternoon catching up on work, diving into a book, or just enjoying some downtime away from busier parts of town. The soundtrack, occasionally lined with owner-spun records, adds a low-key soundtrack that complements rather than competes with conversation or concentration.

The menu is unpretentious but well thought out—beyond coffee, you'll find a selection of organic, vegan, and gluten-free snack bars made locally, adding a wholesome energy boost for those lingering longer. Flavored syrup options provide subtle sweetness or a little flavor twist, such as organic vanilla or cardamom, allowing drinks to be customized without overwhelming the base coffee quality.

Locals and visitors alike find Fay Cafe to be a welcoming stop, partly due to the personable service from the owner and staff, who engage with guests in a way that feels genuine and earnest. This makes the cafe feel more like a community hub than just a quick caffeine fix. Morning or early afternoon tends to be the best time to visit for those wanting to catch the calm before the mid-day rush or to settle in for a slow-paced afternoon.

Overall, Fay Cafe suits those who appreciate hand-crafted coffee experiences paired with a quiet, artful setting. Whether you’re a traveler winding down from Sedona’s outdoor adventures or a local looking for a friendly spot to work or relax, this cafe offers a thoughtfully layered experience that merges great coffee with a welcoming environment.

What a great, unassuming coffee shop! Adam, the owner, greeted me and introduced himself when I arrived. The cappuccino was great; the flavor was rich and smooth. I had the beef empanada and would get it again. Great atmosphere, cute ceramic gifts, and a relaxing soundtrack made this a great place to wrap up my time in Sedona. Try this place!

My family and I were spending a day in Sedona on a trip around northern Arizona and happened upon this delightful art, bookshop, coffee cafe. It was comfortable for sitting and talking, the staff were very personable, the lattes excellent, and the decor was unique and fun!

We recently visited this charming coffee shop run by a super nice couple who clearly care about what they do.They use local ingredients and were very accommodating, making it a great spot to settle in and catch up on a little work. We had an iced latte with organic vanilla syrup and a light roast pour-over made with local beans, and both were excellent. Between the owner spinning records on his record player and thoughtfully explaining the coffee process, the cozy atmosphere made the whole experience feel very relaxing.

Adam was very helpful with the coffee selections and the amazing local art/pottery there. I got several items and was able to hear the stories behind it. Not only was it an amazing atmosphere and coffee, but wonderful customer service that was above and beyond. I will be back to support this local busineee and all that it offers!

I am so delighted that I stopped into this wonderful café! Big views of red rocks. It has just the right vibe of a Coffee shop that welcomes you and where you want to hang out. They even host game night on Friday night, which I really love, because so many of us need connection and community and often choose being home alone with a screen, so what a lovely alternative! Moms pottery for sale, I bought a beautiful mug-excellent local coffee and a special reason to come… a classic history of Sedona coffee table book created by the owner’s Grandfather of days in Sedona before so many buildings were here. Extra bonus, there’s a photograph of the owner, Adam, as a boy on horseback. Friendly positive vibes. Hidden gem

My wife and I shared the pour over and the dirty chai and wow! What a treat both were! The flavor of the coffee was superb, and the dirty chai is probably the best chai I’ve ever had! Highly recommend! Friendly staff and a nice atmosphere!

My girlfriend and I enjoyed our stop at Fay Cafe. Adam shared some nice stories about Sedona and his grandpa. I got a cortado and she got the dirty chai. Both drinks were great and just what we needed.
